Parallax- Chapter 12

"Hmph, whatever. Deploy to your positons while I get inside. And only attack if you hear fire from inside or once I give the signal," she started walking away, "Oh, and Ryan, hold this for me," she threw her wallet to him, then continued to walk.

The transports loaded everyone in, then lifted off, one Firefox dropping onto the roof quietly, as the other deployed a few blocks away.

"It sure looks like it," said a marine, stepping onto the street.

*Sigh*

"I knew the Salvadores were behind this, I just didn't want to believe it. Why couldn't it have been the Mansons? They already hate me..."

*he turns a little and tries to snap his arm back into it's socket after that punch*

"Your commander however, just looked like some bratty school-girl running her mouth off to the wrong guy... Heh, I was right about everything but her being your average school-girl..."

*He mumbles something that sounds like 'dyke bitch' under his breath and closes his eyes.*

((Er, a dike is a ditch... I've stopped correcting everything that people say, but that's just the wrong word... Y, not I.))

((Yep, typo, fixed. It's not very nice, but you'd be pissed too if a little girl randomly called the National Guard, pulled you into a convience store and humiliated you in front of a squad of marines.))

Erika got to the front door, "I'm here to see Senior Salvadore."

"What's your business with 'em?" one of the door guards asked irritatedly.

"I'm sure you can figure that out..."

The guard cracked the door open, talking to someone inside, "Alright, go in."

*Hiding with the Marines, looking a bit nervous*
"Why am I doing this...? Naomi is probably safe and sound and I'm just killing my potential boss... Yeah, safe and sound."

Erika made her way to Senior Salvidor's office.

"Hmm? Who are you supposed to be?" he said, seeing her walk in.

"I wish to ask you some questions, Senior Salvadore."

"What would someone like you want with an old man like me?"

"I would like a job. What is it your family does."

"We sell mechanical parts to local companies," he dodged.

"If that is all you did, what need is there for these guards? What is it you really do?"

"Heh, smart woman. Do you really want to know what we do here?"

"Please, Senior Salvadore."

"Weapons, slaves, and 'special services', if you understand. Now, why do you want to join me?"

*Pounds the ground quietly*
*Under his breath he curses*
"Just pull the trigger woman, and stop torturing me with this..."

While everybody was preoccupied going about their business, Diethelm got a bit bored. He walks out of the hotel lobby with a grin on his face and 2 new, if badly made, huntsman's daggers in sheaths on his arms.

Duma wanders a little "where did everyone go?"

"I don't have any money, and I need a job, but no one will hire. Are there any requirements to join?" she asked.

"Well, there is a quick test..." he pressed the call button on his desk, "Show our guest to the testing area."

A guard walked in a lead Keenly to a lower floor.

"Okay, step up to this wall until you touch with your stomach, chest or nose," the guard said.

"Okay..." she stepped forward, chest touching before even her toes.

"Okay, good, now over to this scale," she walked over to a scale you would find in a doctor's office, "Take your shoes off, and face me."

She did so.

"Good height, but I think it's broken. There's no way you weigh that much..."

Erika just smiled.

"Okay... Now stand over here, arms just off your sides," the guard took a tape measure off a nearby desk, "Only female guards get this job, otherwise it'd be a little awkward," she meassured Erika's bust, "Thirty-two upper... Thirty-seven bust... Twenty-eight under... Wow..."

"Do you like your job?" Erika asked out of nowhere.

"Not really, but if I thought I could get away, I already would have..."

"I see..."

"Okay, awkward part..." the guard said, grabbing Keenly's breasts, "Well, they're real."

"Yeah... Now what?"

"Waist and hip measurments," the tape measure went back around Erika, "Twenty-five waist... And fourty-one hip..."

"What's next?"

"Now I have to check your 'hmmhmm'..."

"Can we skip that?"

"Unfortunetly, no..." the guard crouched down, "Skirt up, underwear down..."

"You're not going to do anything weird, are you?"

"No..." she said, checking, "Okay, looks fine. Now to The Pit."

"The Pit?"

"It's a... Umm... Sort of holding chamber, I guess... Filled with some weird orange slime..."

"Do you want out of here?"

"Like I said, if I could, I would."

"What if I could help you out?"

The guard opened up a metal door, unleashing a musty stench from within...

Erika looked in, seeing a few dazed girls, and a one cowering in the corner.

"Wait, who's that?"

"Uhh, Naomi or something," the guard said.

*readies the Z-95 along the line of snipers and coolly waits*

"Naomi! Get over here!" Erika ordered, "You want out, right? Let's go," she pulled her phone out, and flipped it open, "Dirtnap!"


"GO! GO! GO!!" the marines on the roof blew the door and rushed in, while the squad on the ground rushed the front door, and the Firefoxes hovered around the building...

Sergio loaded his HC and followed the marines.

The guards around the doors fell quickly...

"Keep moving! Clear every floor!" one of the marines yelled.



"What's going on?" the guard with Erika asked.

"We're taking out the Salvadore's" she responded.

Sergio followed one squad of marines into a room where they were immediately fired upon. The marines took down the opposition quickly and proceeded down a main corridor.

"Follow me," Erika said to the two, and ran to the ground floors, where the marines were already making short work of the guards.

The squad Sergio was with had made it to the ground floor after going through several others. A guard approached from behind him, but a marine pumped a few rounds into the man before he could do anything.

Sergio looked over and saw Erika running up a flight of stairs to the ground level with Naomi and another girl. He rushed to them along with three or four marines.

"Okay, we have the girl, now send in the police to mop up, and check this place out. No, first, send squads down to look for secondary escape routes, and hunt them down if there are any," she said, headed for the front door.

((Okay, you can scold me for this, but I REALLY REALLY want to :P))
*Ditches the marines without them knowing, and finds a secret compartment in Senior Salvadore's office.*

*Inside was a narrow room with a bit of cover, filled with rack after rack of firearm, standing at the back of this corridor, was none other than the Salvadore himself*

"I see you found me, kid. I thought you deserted your little friend to die."
*He points an M-6 at Melchior. The sound of aircraft outside gets louder.*
" I don't have long to live, but I might as well take you with me!"
*Melchior ducks behind a rack of guns, as Salvadore fires a shot*

One of the marines looked in, and decapitated the mob boss with a burst from his firesprey, "Lets keep moving!" the trooper said to Melchior.
