Parallax- Day 3

The Admiral restated his choices: "You currently have two options: A, we can force enlist you into the Cazanan Military, the usual for such an occurrence; or B, seeing as just about, if not, all of you are underage, we can set you free. I would recommend the latter. You should go to school and be kids, and then when you are of age, and still willing, then, join the army."

"Oh, that question... That's a tough one."

"Well, try to come up with something..." Erika said.

"I answered. If I get a weapon shiny, then yes."

"It's not a yes or no question, dumbass..."

"Yes as in: enlist me, or I'll be forced to kill someone."

"Would I have to speak to my family if I go with choice A?"

"Okay, new question, WHY THE HELL AREN'T YOU AT THE HOSPITAL YET!?"

Rich turned toward Shali, "If you do not want to, I will not force it."

"I don't know, Bright shiny isn't going, and I'm supposed to follow him. I don't know where it is."

"That's because you DIDN'T follow him... He's gone."

"Oops. Oh well. I'll just have to follow some one else."

Erika pointed down the road, "Just go find some medics... They're everywhere right now..."

"I guess choice.... B." Shali whispered, not entirely sure. Still, maybe things would turn out differently this time.

"Okay. " She goes and finds a medic, "Can you help me? My left arm's broken. Below the elbow."

"I think that's one of the least of your worries," the medic said, "Please set down," he motioned toward a stretcher.

"What do you mean?" She says, laying on the stretcher.

"We need to get you to the hospital ASAP!" he said, pushing the stretcher into the back of his vehicle, "Alright, we need to punch it, we have a walking dead in back!"

((Walking dead - near dead, but still conscious and mobile))

Shali sighed. Of course they don't pay attention to me.

"If you truly want Option B, so be it. I would advise against it." Rich said.

"I'm about to go unconscious again. Night night medic shinies." She said, passing out, again.

"Isn't option B the school one?"

Rich just smiled and turned red, "Yes, I seemed to have forgotten for a moment, pardon my error."

Shali sighed.

"Is there anything you want to do in the last few days before the start of the school year?" the Admiral asked.

"Exactly how long would finishing school take...?"
