Parallax- Chapter 7

"Hunter. Hmm, I've got an idea..." she grabbed one of the larvae, and popped it, pulling out some pink slime, then rubbed it into Sergio's wounds, "That should get rid of the Hunter poison, and heal those a little faster. Also, now, generations of your offspring will carry the hidden ability to sense the Aveon, though it may take about eight generations to be notable..."

"Well, that's just about the most random thing that will effect my offspring... Thus far..." Sergio said, "And thanks."

"There'll probably be worse... And why haven't the Hunters chased us in here yet?"

"Maybe they don't want to disturb their young?"

"I've seen them use plasma launchers in this kind of situation..." she said, looking at the sewer entry...

"Sorry I'm late to the party!" came a voice from the darkness.

"Who's that?" Sergio asked, surprised

*points his rifle in the direction of the voice*

"Who in the hell is that?!"

A few rounds peirced his arm, causing him to drop the rifle, "Guess..."

'Haven't I heard that voice...? I recognize the violent attitude...' Sergio thought. Then the thought came to him. "Keenly, right? The Arbiter?" walking over to assist Diethelm

"Aced!" she said, stepping from the shadows, "That Titan was a bit dumber than usual too..."

"So you killed a TITAN?"

"Yeah, easy! Just toss a frag in it's mouth!" she said triumphantly.

"Any ideas on how to get off this rock alive?" Sayoko asked.

Erika squinted at her and smiled, "We get on one of their ships!"

"What ships? Whose? and fer gossakes, will someone explain to me what is happening?!"

"I veto the motion that we should hijack an Aveon cruiser..." Ryan said.

"As do I," Aramaki said.

"Me too..." Chiyoko said, while staring at her like she was crazy...

"It does sound rather... far fetched. How were you planning to capture one exactly...?"

*idly shoots at one of the larvae*

"I would figure it out when I got there!" she retorted.

"And people say I'm crazy..." Chiyoko said.

"So... since that idea is basically out of the question..." He said, "for now." he added. "What will we do?"

"Ii say we explore the sewers. Who knows what we might find there?"

"Like more larve and possibly some Hunters waiting to ambush and impale us?" Sergio said, kicking a larva over to Diethelms feet. "Then again, that does sound interesting..."

"Quite. Unless someone has a better idea?"

"Kill stuff!" she yelled.

"I'm starting to think she has more mammary glands than she does brain cells..." Chiyoko added.

"HEY!!"

"You're both idiots..." Ryan said, leaning his head in his palm.

"Or we could set fire to the sewers... That might be fun, the sound would be like popcorn!"

Sergio stared at Diethelm for a minute. "I'm starting to regret giving you a heavy weapon earlier."

"CAN IT MEATBAG!" Erika hissed.

"We don't have anything to start a fire anyways," Sayoko said.
