I meant for explosives...since you have all of these giant creatures that take explosives to kill and I think we're all out...

They don't all require explosives, you're just using the wrong guns for the job. You can kill a Burrower with kinetics, just not fire, plasma or energy...

can plasma rifles/pistols be set to a flamethrower mode?

Nope, the flamethrower is for that, and I'm going to add more stuff once my comp ships... At least we got some stuff today, so i should get it soon

also if you can, illustrations of the different baddies would help a lot, I mean descriptions help a little but honestly I'm probably visualizing it wrong

I saw the burrower as a giant worm thing so far and the hunters as kinda a reversed knee bug like thingy from what I can figure how bad is my guess? ((I didnt see a description for the hunters so I have no idea what you meant for them to look like)) and the phoenix/titans kinda like a dragon with skin and not scales

Everything has it's own style, as does each individual, so you'll have to gauge it on how they attack.

I was just saying that the battlefields arent really conducive for someone sitting back and killing things from afar ((a common occurrence in RPG's however I'll just work on altering things later))

Pretty much, but it's always harder to hit at close range with a more accurate weapon...

Most people can't hit a target that's close with it. I can hit anybody at any range with anything, but that's eight years of experience for you... Warhornet can back up that claim...

its generally the scope that fucks you up at close range beyond that the gun is still technically more accurate at closer range you just cant use the scope for shit...

That's why you don't use the scope...
