((Still confused ))

*Stops dead center in place and realizes how stupid he sounds.*

"You know what, I still have no idea what the hell you are or why the hell you're dragging me into this! Pity, a friendly gesture, employment, or for no reason at all, I'm not this desprete for work to follow you around and ask stupid questions all day fucking long! I... I... Need a smoke and a bar stool. 'scuze me for a sec..."

*walks outside the building and lights an off-world exotic cigar, stumbling across the street*

A while later Naomi walked back out, and back to Steve's Stuff.

Seeing Naomi walk back in, "Oh hey. Were you out there talking to the police all this time?"

"No," she said to Sergio, then turned to Steve, "The Saladores are going to have the Mansons dealt with."

"Okay, thanks for finishing that up."

*Melchior walks into the first bar he saw*

He thought:
'What's with me today? First, I randomly ask some girl if she wants to help me track down a bounty of the Mansons gang. I don't even have a bounty on the Mansons. I'm broke and crazy all right... Broke and fucking loony... '


"What'll it be sir?"

" Cazaran Bourbon, no rocks... Gimme the whole bottle with it..."

"Cazanan?" the bartend corrected, "Not from around here are you?"

*Still spacy*

"Huh? Oh, no... Tried this a few times on Alphoths... Thought you might have some. Good shit... "

"D'ya hear the Drons attacked it a few weeks back? Few casualties because everyone was at some concert, far from the main attack. Crazy stuff huh?" he pushed the drink to him, "Are you okay there pal?"

*coughs from cigar smoke*

"yeah, slide that over. Doesn't surprise me... Crazy bastards Drons and Caz's... Hear anything on the Mansons...?"

"Mansons? Stay away from them. They're crime lords that deal in drugs and people. If you get cought up with them, you'll probably end up dead..."

*Downs the bourbon in one clean swallow.*

"Really? I don't see any hands working in the shadows... Bunch of thugs with fancy toys but no agenda to me."

*looks around himself suspiciously, expecting a reaction out of one of the patrons*


((Fight please, Mr. DM? haven't done anything this chapter, and there hasn't been much action yet.))

"Heh, may be true for some of their low ranks, but once you get in... Just, if I were you, I'd keep some distance..."



Naomi paced around the store for a bit, then left, headed north-east.

"I'll watch my back, thanks. Adios..."

*walks out of bar, northeast of store, and walks southwest*

"Gotta get a hotel room before it gets dark as hell", he muttered, as he rounded another corner

Steve saw Melchior, "Hey, have you seen Naomi? She just disappeared on me..."

"Hmmm...? I... barged out on her eariler, Lost it a bit... She was visiting an individual by the name of Senior Salvadore. Dunno anywhere else she went though. I needed a drink pretty damn badly.

"She's already been back from that... Almost a half an hour ago..."

*Shrug*
"you're asking the drunk, anyway... Got any ideas where she could be? "

((Night, hope for a busier and cooler few nights of RP soon. Barely anyone's on during the week...))

"She lives off to the south, but she ran off early..."

not really she was here and then....gone.

"She was here then... Gone? Ughhh, this doesn't smell right... I told her it wasn't kosher to just collect info on a gang and expect to get away with it. Is anyone catching my drift here?"

The door opened and a few kids in local school uniforms walk in, "Ryan wants another six pack of Alma," the Cazanan girl in front said.

"That I do," the Fronzok beside her said.

"Aww~, well isn't that cute?"
*grins and glares at Steve*
