Parallax- Day 4- Civilian

"I doubt he'll have the Mech-Hulk units..."

The ship dove abruptly, "WHOOO!!!!" Sheila, the pilot yelled. There was the sound of the missile launchers firing, then the ship quickly leveled just above the ground, spinning the stern around, showing the freshly 'opened' doors of Quaran's base.

"Did you "Open" those?"

"HAHA!! YEAH!! Now get on in there before they start crawling out from there!" Sheila yelled.

"Alright." Shali said, holding her rocked launcher.

"GO! GO! GO!!"

The troops piled out the back of the ship and onto solid ground, running toward the broken bunker doors...

Shali ran out of the ship to the doors.

Off to the left, trees were toppling toward the bunker, and guards began to surge forth from the opening.

Shali shot her rocket launcher at the guards.

A squad of MS-1 Lancer Mobile Suits cut their way to the bunker. A second Firefox had shown up, and was quickly sliced out of the sky by one of the Lancers.

((They on our side?))

((They just cut up a Firefox that was dropping reinforcements. Take a guess))

Nick, who had decided to take a nap during the trip awoke to the calamity of the outside. "OH CRAP! WHAT'D I MISS?!"

Sheila punched the throttle forward, throwing anyone left in the ship out the back.

"Not too much, we've just started!" Zoil yelled.

The marine with the Hadron Cannon crouched down, heaved it onto his shoulder, and fired at the lead Lancer unit.

"Okay?" Nick said, rubbing his head. "What should I do?"

"Get to the bunker!!"

"Uhh...sure." Nick said, doing a cool spin jump up, and landing on his feet. He started one way, and then another, confused. "Wait! Where's the bunker?"

"See that smoldering hole with people running out of it? That's the bunker!!"

A captured Dronok Mobile Suit appeared from behind the bunker, laying down heavy fire with it's gatling guns.

"Okay." Nick said. He ran to and jumped in the bunker.

((He might be a mercenary, but rarely did he see so many people. He was more or less used as a hack and slash Total War fighter (one who destroys enemy resources, nowadays a crime of war usually).))

"This guy has too many units for just an Underground faction..." one of the new marines said when he caught up to the group.

The Torrent-class Dronok Mobile Suit began firing onto the Firefoxes as they were trying to land.

"What should I do?" Nick said. He looked up to the Mobile Suit, thinking to himself. "I wonder if I could get in that kick ass thing? YEAH! Then, I could actually be useful, and get that cash!"

((Always with the money!))

The Torrent stepped over the bunker entrance, crushing a few marines that were running toward it.

The surge from inside the base grew stronger...

"What?" one of the marines yelled, turning toward the bunker, firing down into it.

Nick freaked when he saw the marine he thought was an ally firing into the hole. He freaked and ran up out of it. Seeing as he was surrounded by gun fire, he decided to get into the nearest cover, besides the targeted bunker. He saw a Mech, and decided to try hijacking it.

((I thought we were using the bunker, as a repercussion against the mechs and other heavy fire power, but if my allies are firing into it I was wrong. I'm gonna try this. Wish me luck.))

The Torrent stopped, turning the upper body to fire upon the Cazanan transports.

((The bunker is one of the small entrance/exits of the underground base))

Seeing as the Torrent wasn't even paying him any mind, Nick ran up to it, and grabbed onto a leg. He lit a cig, took a drag, and shimmied up it, until he saw what he thought was the cockpit entrance. He grabbed it around the edges, and went to pull. "Wait...shit. If I get in this, what's to keep my so called allies from blowing me up?" He asked himself out loud. "Ehh...screw it!" He yelled, pulling off the hatch. He thrusted the knife into the pilot's chest before they could react, and threw him out. He jumped in, and closed the door. "So...this is a Torrent?" Nick said, admiring it.

Shali aimed her rocket launcher at the Torrent, shooting off several rockets. She realized Nick was in it. "Oops."
